Home TechnologyGoogle How to get SECRET retro games in Google Chrome - play Pac-Man and Breakout at the office

When Google isn't busy producing cutting-edge new smartphones , it's hiding secret games in its internet browser.
If you've got Google Chrome installed then there's a very simple way to access some classic retro video games.
Both Pac-Man and Breakout can be played on your desktop computer and there's also a secret mobile game you can play on your phone.
So if you're a bit bored at work, here's how to find the hidden games - just make sure the boss isn't watching while you're cranking out the high scores.

How to play Breakout

You'll need to use Google Image Search to find this new version of Atari's classic block-breaking game.

Simply type in "Atari Breakout" and watch what happens.
You'll be able to use your computer mouse to control the moving platform.

How to play Pac-Man

This classic chomping arcade game was actually the basis of a playable Google Doodle a few years back.
One of Google's most popular doodles ever, it's been preserved in the search engine's archives for you to call up and plat at a moment's notice.

Facebook Messenger's hidden games

Google isn't alone when it comes to building hidden games into its applications.
Facebook has included both a basketball and a chess game into its Messenger app.
Of course, both of those require you to be connected to the internet.
